Synthesis - A Disunited Kingdom

A Disunited Kingdom ?

In the aftermath / In the wake of the Brexit vote, British public opinion is more divided / split than ever.
Scotland has expressed its desire to organise a 2nd referendum to leave the UK and rejoin the EU and Ireland could follow.
This set of documents, made up of / constituted of one speech, 2 articles, one cartoon and one election-result map begs the following question : Is it the beginning of the end for the UK ? Could the United Kingdom really break apart ?

Synthesis : Artificial Intelligence

Should we be afraid of the rise of the machines ?

The Robots are coming : should we run ?

Is Artificial Intelligence good news for humanity ?

Artificial Intelligence : Boon or Bane ?

Artificial Intelligence has MADE GIANT STRIDES over the last decades. It is now everywhere around us. It is in our phones, in our cars, it is already helping us in our everyday lives.

However such a rapid / fast evolution can also be scary. Should we be worried ? Is Artifical Intelligence (a) good news for humanity ? How can we deal with it, in order to live with it ?

« AI : Ominous Threat or Bright Future ?

Artificial Intelligence HAS MADE GIANT STRIDES over the last few decades. It is hard to define, but some people assume artificial intelligence is already everywhere around us : in our phones, computers, cars, etc.

And it is bound to improve even more in the near future. Should we be afraid ? Or is this just great news ? What should we do to learn to deal with it and live with it ?
